Fall Blog Hop: Pumpkin Queso Dip

 I’m a pumpkin lover. I actually eat pumpkin all year round and not just during the fall. But, when fall hits, I start adding pumpkin to just about everything {like cookies, dips, french toast and even hummus}. My most recent pumpkin tinkering came when I was making a queso dip for an upcoming fall party. Usually I just make my world’s best queso dip {seriously, that is not an exaggeration} but I wanted to try something new. So, I made pumpkin queso dip instead.

Adding pumpkin to make pumpkin queso dip is the best idea ever.

Three Ingredient TWIX® Dip

Collective Bias Disclosure

Let’s talk dessert.  I am a total sucker for almost anything sweet. If it has chocolate in it, it might be a little difficult to hold me back.  For parties and BBQs, I love the idea of throwing a few ingredients together to make a yummy dessert dip.  In planning my Memorial Day BBQ this year, I stumbled up TWIX® Bites at Walmart and knew I wanted them in my belly and also to create a TWIX® dip.  The bonus: it is a three ingredient TWIX dip…yep, you only need three things to make it!

This three ingredient TWIX® dip would be perfect for our upcoming BBQ. #EatMoreBites #shop #cbias

Jalapeno Popper Dip

Jalapeno poppers are one of those appetizers that you know EVERYONE will love.  It is the perfect combination of spicy and cheesy in a little handheld bite.  I see them at so many parties and actually served them for the first time this year at our annual Christmas party.  Then, I started thinking about a way to easily take all those flavors on the go for tailgating or potluck parties {March madness, anyone?}. Turning the traditional appetizer into Jalapeno Popper Dip that you make ahead and bake whenever you want OR throw in the crockpot was what I came up with! This Jalapeno Popper Dip looks so easy and delicious. Love her idea of making it in the crockpot. #Superbowl #recipes #dips

Guacamole: Just Add…

To a lot of people, there isn’t much that you can do to guacamole to make it any better than it already is. It is a creamy, tangy and spicy treat all mixed into one bowl.

Now, of course, I have already revealed that I add salsa to my guac for the texture issue I have {note: I fully understand it is me…not the guac!}

When we were in New York recently though, I had guacamole with an ingredient that I wouldn’t have really thought to put in…

Spicy Sausage Pinwheels

For our Super Bowl get together this year {um, early February already seem like ages ago}, we asked everyone to bring something to share. One of our neighbors brought this amazing sausage crescent roll dish that I seriously could not stop eating. I think the only reason I stopped was because I lost my fork somewhere and didn’t want to dirty a new one.

That got me thinking of a way to make her dish into more a finger food so a fork wouldn’t be required. Spicy Sausage Pinwheels would be the ultimate party food for football games, tailgating or just a regular potluck!
